hi ho.. hi ho... it's off to work I go

ok... so I've been pretty busy and I need to catch up a little. I will start off by talking a little about My new job and then I'll talk about My first trip back to Paddles and a homecoming with jason and all about his exciting news.

I interviewed with a company in Long Island for a position and I really liked them. I had some pro's and con's and I went about discussing them with friends that are more experienced with the whole commuting thing. The last time I was in NYC it was in Staten Island and the commute was tortuous. Truly it was one of the main reasons I wanted to leave NYC. I quickly found out that it wasn't worth it... commute or no commute I just really missed NYC. This job means that I will be driving to work. Charles (hubby) and housemates assure Me that the train ride gets to be a bore when done daily. I was really upset about not getting to ride the train but it would have been a bitch if I had had to switch to the subway. With My bad knee the stairs kill Me. I am also a bit of a baby about the severe cold.. lol. This job is a drop in pay for Me and they don't offer insurance yet but are set to get it in place in the next month or two. I'm such a sucker for a company that is building itself.

Maybe this will be the one that "hits". It's so funny that I HATE the new job FIRST WEEK.... you don't know anyone and you don't know what you are doing. If you are a control freak... (duh I'm a Mistress so of course I'm a control freak) it's like one big nightmare. It's not the norm for Me to feel so out of place or shy or nervous but I am. My friend Jenny said it best when She surmised that Mistresses shouldn't work for other people. That would of course lead back to the idea of Pro-Domme. Still thinking about the how-to's on that.

Jenny had some really good idea's about that... and I'm still running the possibilities through My mind. I've done some Pro-Domme work as a favor to some Pro friends of Mine... just taking some clients when they needed to do something but didnt want to cancel the appointment. It was ok.... and Jenny and I would be a good mix .. since She does very well what I do not.

We shall see......
