I have been through a really busy last few weeks. So much has been going on but I just learned that My daughter is going to have a baby.
So many different feelings go through My head at this time, some thoughtful some gleeful but the one really standing out is, legacy. This child will be a legacy. I'm so young at heart that it feels a little strange this grandmother thing but in this day and age, I think the old fashioned vision of a "grandmother" is yesterday's news. I have a grandson that is on the go too much to spend too much time being cuddled so, no rocking chairs for us. Now I'll have two grandchildren.
I've had a really good time giving Charles a hard time about being a grandfather at 33. He scowls at Me but I know he's looking forward to the next year and being a part of the fun.
I'm about to leave this weekend for Beat Me in St Louis. I'm really looking forward to being with my slave and relaxing. finn is trained to please Me. There is a benefit to having property for almost 5 years. He already knows how to serve me and it's not all about him. Well, it is but he actually likes it being about me which makes it about him. lol... did you understand that?
He knows I love having My hair brushed and that I love watching him on his knees and knowing that he is wearing his collar. I like to just talk and visit and go to dinner and most of all... just doing nothing.
The weekend after that it's off to Houston to spend some quality time with My daughter and go with her to her first doctors appointment. I get to see the ultrasound. I'll see My son as well so it's a good trip.
Andrew came to visit me at one of the four work events going on last week and he looked handsome in his suit and tie. I wanted him to experience a little of where I spend My days and what My work is all about. It was at the Chelsea Art museum and ironically the art that was on exhibit during the event was very erotic in a kinky ways.
I have been really busy for the last month with work. Now that the big week is over things will settle down a little. There are three more big events coming up but they are smaller and will be easier to handle. I should have more time for Myself and for My property. I want to participate with Le Cirque de Domme and make a few of their dinners in the city and also hopefully more of the TES meetings. I also want to help Jeff out on the TES Fest committee because I really want to support that.
