and he wasn't even HERE. He was wiling away his day.. playing on the golf course. I think finn has MOVED to the golf course because that is where he seems to be all the time now. It's a wonder he still has a job and his boss hasn't fired him.. OHHHHH I forgot.. HE IS THE BOSS. lol I tease him all the time because to Me his work schedule is similar to someone who puts a lot of sugar in their coffee. You know the saying, "would you like some coffee with your sugar?" Well.. for finn it's, "would you like some work with your days off?"
So today I was heading out for an interview because I'm looking for a new job now. I know, I know I have some catching up to do, especially to tell about My daughters wedding but today just struck me so strongly that I had to write about it.
I showed up for the interview and the moron junior recruiter had
1) never answered My email trying to confirm the meeting he set up for Me with the VP in the city
2) Called in sick today and didn't notify ME or his boss that I was supposed to meet him at their Manhattan offices today.
3) never made the appointment with the VP for Me to see her
This job possibility is now getting expensive since on the FIRST trip there... he stupidly told Me that the tests would not take to long and then after I started them and he left, the girl said, "I don't know what he's talking about. These tests take over an hour"
I did of course get a parking ticket... and NO finn, it wasn't My fault and there were no buses involved.
So, now I'm into this job for over $35 and today.. the train was another 15 and since Mr. I'madumbass didn't do his job, I have to go back again.
So, the VP of HR had to come from Queens to interview Me and I had over an hour to kill. The building is right on Fifth avenue not far from PRADA (drool) and Central Park. It was a beautiful day so I limped (yes, something is wrong with My foot and I'm Hobbling around) over to the park and started walking for a while then sat on the bench and just reflected and "watched the people".
A few months ago, finn and I did that very same thing while he took pictures of them preparing the NYC Marathon. We sat on the bench and the trees were losing their blossoms and the air was thick with color as the wind cleared out the tree branches. It's such a memory for Me. Usually My sick mind will choose the times smelling of leather and sweat mixed with the grunts of My property flinching under the whip. But this time... something magical was in the air.

finn stood behind the bench that day and brushed My hair because that is what I love MOST when being pampered and serviced. I can still feel it and today when I was sitting there, I could feel it again and if I closed My eyes it was like going back in time. Then I realized that finn and I had made an indelible mark in our memories and that I could never walk into Central Park now without thinking of him.
